Today saw New Armley FC take on East Leeds

in the Leeds Sunday Summer League semi final 

East Leeds were the Barrass Division League Champions

while New Armley FC was pipped to the post by Bramley Town
on the final league fixture to win the Hope Division.

New Armley FC took on East Leeds 

for today's Semi Final

New Armley were prepped and ready for this game

against the Barrass  League Winners
taking no prisoners.. New Armley kicked on with an early goal

from Captain Mark Ferguson, Closely followed by our second from McCauley Elliott then followed by Dion Robinson.

Taking New Armley into a 3-0 lead within 25 minutes.

East Leeds was woken with the early goals and sat tight pressing hard with many chances just not finding the back of the net.
Taking New Armley into half time 3-0 up.

2nd Half

East Leeds obviously had a stern talking to in the half time team brief and came back out pressing hard East Leeds found the back of our net bringing the result 3-1.
New Armley reacted quickly and Nathan Chadwick found the back of East Leeds net bringing the score line to 4-1 

East Leeds did not give up and continued to press hard.
Substitute James Brown scored our 5th and final goal taking the full time result to 5-1 New Armley.

Commiserations to East Leeds 

they did not stop for the full 90 minutes.
