A week has passed and celebrations have finally calmed down
I am proud to announce that

CUP WINNERS
The day was eventful to say the least, Started early with a team meet up breakfast. Spirits were high the lads were ready for this, They had worked hard all season and to be just pipped to the post of league winners the previous week by 1 goal for Bramley Town to snatch this, New Armley were certainly ready for the final after beating East Leeds 5-1 In the semi final.
Team coach had arrived at 11am and took 40 supporters along with the team to be greeted by a further 50+ supporters at Otley Town.

Commercial kicked off the scoreboard first 1-0 then a reaction goal came from our very own Jordan Tate bringing it 1-1 into half time.
Second Half
New Armley set the bench at half time after a talking to by Manager Kayne Hague and Captian Mark Ferguson
With a quick goal from kick off by Captain Mark Ferguson.
New Armley continued to press as did Commercial with chances denied by both teams at least until the sidelines erupted when a
35 yard overhead kick from Mr Jordan Tate sealed New Armley 3-1
in front, Surely that meant the winners were new Armley there and then...
NO that wasn't to be New Armley's Dale McCormack was shown a straight red card and sent from the playing field at 55 minutes.
Commercial HQ scored bringing the result 3-2
Commercial continued to press hard on 10 man New Armley
and Sy Doherty brought down a player in the penalty box giving Commercial the chance to equalize with not much game time left on the clock, Commercial's Glen Hendrix scored..

No Extra Time Penalties will seal the fate.
